Prepare Publication for Print

A: Proof read and check the accuracy of your booklet, making any improvements required.

Print a final proof copy of your booklet. This must show all items in the booklet and the print quality must be sufficient to provide an accurate representation of what the final booklet will look like.

B: Produce a covering letter that will be sent to the printing company with the proof copy.

In order to send off the final copy of your booklet you must write a covering letter to explain to the publisher what you are sending them.

Write a letter to the publisher Mr Jack Johnson explaining the following points (2 or 3 sentences on each):

• What your booklet is called and what it is about
• Who your target audience is
• That you have included a proof copy of the booklet with the letter.

Now you have finished you need to print out the witness statment and get your teacher to fill it in with you.
